Let me introduce you to a beautiful little angel named Charlotte.
She is the daughter of a friend of mine, Allison. Almost two months ago they noticed that Charlotte was having trouble walking on her right leg and that she was falling over without any reason. Allison then noticed that little Charlotte was having trouble using her right hand as well.
They brought her into the doctor's, where they ordered a CAT scan. They noticed a quite sizeable tumor and sent her immediately to the children's hospital to have it removed. This tumor was putting pressure on her brain which was causing the uncoordination in her limbs.
Charlotte had an 8cmx6cm tumor removed from her brain. She's not even two years old. Amazing how happy she'd been for the entire time this was inside her.
She is currently undergoing chemotherapy as well as stem cell harvesting. She's had a scare with anaphylactic shock in reaction to her drugs. We are concerned for her kidneys, hearing and feeling of nausea. For someone who's had so many things done to her she is in amazingly good spirits and has the most cheery disposition in the room. A complete inspiration.
This will be a long, and trying road for their family and as soon as I heard, I wanted to help. I've created a stamp set that is all about Charlotte and her beautiful personality. I've been working with Allison to make sure it is absolutely perfect. Once this stamp set is completed, it will be sold through RBD with all proceeds going to help out this gorgeous little girl and her amazingly strong and inspiring family. I will keep you all updated on Charlotte's progress as well. Their family has also sent out a prayer request to anyone who is willing to help.
