Hello! What a wonderful weekend we had at the retreat! We do a retreat twice a year at a local kids camp where they offer camps for underpriveleged families and single mothers. Who thought scrapbooking and cardmaking could get any better! Not only do we get projects done and relax for the weekend but we are also making some dreams come true.
Anyway! Here is a little card I did this weekend playing with Fun Flock. I haven't used this product in a while and I'm quite happy with the end result. I used the larger bunny image from the Bunny Love set. I stamped it first in my brown ink and onto the paper. I then took my two-way glue pen and traced out the bunny and covered the image. I let it get a little tacky and then sprinkled the flock on (in Cinnamon toast color) and lightly pressed it in. I waited for it to dry and then shook off the excess. Look how fuzzy he is!!!
I took my craft knife and cut two slits on either side of the bunny's neck and then tied some embroidery floss around the neck of the bunny to up the cute factor.
I used my nestability dies to create the focal point and then I added some scor-pal lines to finish the card.
I love the sentiment in this set and I think it goes well with my cutsie theme.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! What are your big plans? At any rate, be careful and have fun!
