Good morning! Just a quick little post to look back at some of the stamp sets from RBD that haven't had much of the spotlight but are great none the less. The design team and I are working to ensure that every one of our stamp sets gets some exposure in the idea gallery on the RBD website.
This layout is done using one of my favorite sets of all time. All stamps used today are from the On Angels' Wings stamp set.
I should note that all of the cardstock and DP is from SU!
I stitched together all the strips of cardstock and around the edges of the matting on the photo.
Also worth noting is that this is an 8X8 layout so you can get a feeling for scaling.
I stamped the large solid heart along a strip of Vanilla carstock evenly spaced.
I then took the words "Angels" and "on your pillow" and picked them both up on the block together. I then inked them in a darker shade and stamped them repeatedly along the strip. Here is a close up look (Click on the images to get a closer look).
I took the larger set of wings and inked them with White pigment ink and stamped them onto Kraft cardstock. I then added glitter embossing powder and heat set. (as always, click to enlarge photo)
I stamped The psalm just above the wings in chocolate brown and I trimmed this out and matted it on cream cardstock and stitched around the edges to bring a cohesive look to the layout. I added a ribbon from RBD in Antique white grosgrain . I then added a little matching button and adhered to the finished layout.
Wouldn't these make lovely birth announcements or baby book pages? Just precious.
