A Moment in Time

Summer Fruit

Hello everyone on this lovely first day of May! Here's a little gift idea for my kids I did using the newest set from RBD called Summer Fruit.  Isn't it darling!? Every year I always do a bunch of canning and make a lot of jelly and baking as gifts. I will be using this set this year to pretty up my jars and tags and packaging.

I found these cute little pails at the dollar store  a while back and I knew someday I'd have just the right thing to put in them.

The other day I came across some packages of Allan gummy candies and since I've been playing with this stamp set for the last few weeks, this project was born!

Life is GREAT!

Hello all!!  What a great day to wake up to eh? The first few signs of spring are here, little green sprigs of grass popping up, fresh breezes blowing through and birds chirping joyfully. I love spring. I love life.

This March seems to be a lamb and I will take it gladly! We got out with the kids this past weekend and went quadding and played in the mud. We had SO much fun, I love what a little taste of warm weather does for the soul! Here are a couple of pictures of my boys gettin' dirty... I took about 300 that day!

Aren't they cute!? My ears still had mud in them two days later! Haha we had fun though.

This is a card made with the newest set from RBD called Enjoy Life

I'm sure you notice that the butterfly in my card has TWO wings!!! This is a little trick with acetate that I've used many times to create the mirror image of the stamp I have. Perhaps I will crate a tutorial on this in the near future!

Final hint!

OKAY!! Last and final hint!!  The new stamp set will be released tomorrow and if you've been playing along you'll have seen 4 hints to what the theme of the new set is. Today is the final hint in the series and I think that once I post this below all of the previous four hints will seem like a waste of time. So why didn't I just post today's hint on the first day?! Well, c'mon, how fun would that have been!! haha  OKAY so here it is..........  *drumroll*..........

Hint #5  Imelda Marcos.  Okay so now you know. :)  I'm so excited to release this set to you, I have such BIG plans for it.

This is the first set which has been developed along side our new, Canadian, graphic designer (more on the introduction tomorrow!), Clarice Gomes.

Hint #4

Once again it is time!! Time for another hint!!! Okay, well this one is not so much of a hint as it is a plan to de-rail you!  If you had any sort of idea what the theme is for this new set for February, this should throw ya for a loop!!  Here it is!

Hint #4 Yes. That is Molly Ringwald from Pretty in Pink. Who didn't  want to be her!? I know I sure did :)

Hello again! Here is the third hint for the February First stamp release at RBD. This one may start to give it away but I think it's still a lot of fun to pretend that I'm being a tease. LOL

Hint #3 Feet. Yup. Feet.  That's all I can say or it'll be blatantly obvious and that would just ruin the fun!

A few little clues...

Hey Folks!

Where have I been!? Well, if you haven't been over to our site lately you'll see quite a few changes (most notably the whole color scheme!!).  Many of the changes are to the back side of things and so you probably haven't noticed those... unless you somehow have gotten my password, if that's the case, could you please respond to the multitudes of emails sitting there for me!!?

I wont' bore you here with all of the other details but if you'd like a quick rundown then you can catch up in our newsletter which will go out on the 1st! If you're not on "the list" then add yourself here. There are a lot of new happenings for RBD in 2010, including partnering with a graphic designer, a retail location and plans for an incentive program! The growing pains in all of this seem to be my blog posts! The good news is I've got a bunch pre-loaded for the next few months so you'll be seeing more of me... I know you've heard it before, but this time I PROMISE! haha  I've even scheduled my day-timer to remind me to post!

If any of the monogram winners (remember that!?) have not heard from me, please contact me via email, when my hosting crashed a few months ago, with it went all of the monogram communications. If you were a winner, and are still interested in receiving yours, please contact me!!! I'm missing 2 of you!

Now, what does my post title mean? Well, if you're a facebook fan, you may have seen these little tidbits and hints I've been giving there about the February stamp release to come. SO, if you've missed them, here they are:

Please include:

• Your choice of monogram design and the size you would like (this offer is good for up to the 3" size).See a list of designs on the RBD website, if you do not see one you like but have something in mind, please describe it or attach a picture.

• Your choice of format for your monogram. ie. clear stamp, or digital printing file

• Your initials and/or the names and dates required on the stamp... be sure to check spelling!!!

I will then respond to your email and attach a proof for your acceptance and review (please allow a few days time for this). If you do not like the sample shown, please let me know and we will make sure you love it!

September Release!

Hello hello!  Here I am to unveil the newest set from RBD Happy Halloween. I wanted to design something which could be used both by the scrapbooker and the gift or treat giver. Since I haven't been able to play with this set myself (see previous post about the chaos while I move!) both Tina and Deb have done a beautiful job in using this new set.

Hello everyone! I almost died today when I realized that we are already in AUGUST! Can you believe it! Where is this summer going!? Pretty soon we'll be packing our little ones back to school

A giveaway with a twist

Is anyone you know getting married in 2010? Would you love to have your own monogram stamp for your card seals, invitations and envelopes or homemade stationery? Well, then you can't miss this post.

I have been contacted a few times from people who were requesting to see some samples of monogram stamps and what they've been used for!  So I thought, what better way to do this than a giveaway!!

Comment on this post and 6 people will be drawn at random on September 1st 2009 to win their very own custom monogram stamp ($25 value)!!!! (please note: this stamp will take about 6-8 weeks for delivery from the date this contest closes)  This can be for everyday personal use, or it can be for weddings, invitations and the like.

Where's the catch you ask? Well, okay this time there is a tiny catch. If your name is chosen and you win your custom stamp all you need to do is use your stamp and love it (and we know you will). Yup, that's it. All we ask that you send us a photo of something you've created with your monogram stamp; wedding favours, stationery, invitations etc. and we will post them on the blog and in our gallery section of our website for our customers and brides to have a look at.
